The frozen soursop, our main product, is aimed exclusevily to the food industry (wholesale). We have large volumes, because we are in the world record region of the production of soursop.
Our product is pure, with no added water or preservatives. Every batch shipped has been microbiological analysed. The average is 12 brix. But it is common to find up to 14 batches of brix. However, during the rainy season (winter), it may fall to 10. We offer the “mass” of soursop, consistent in whole fruit, just shelled frozen, stems and also the pure pulp, pulp-free.
In the field, it is also impressing the size of the fruits of our region, which reach easily 8 or 10 kgs each, while in other regions the average fruit weight is around 3 kg.
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION OF SOURSOP
With mild flavor and slightly acid, soursop stands out as a great source of nutrients.
Approximately 100g of 60 cal soursop provide about 25 mg calcium, 28 mg phosphorus, and 26 mg of vitamin C.
It is stated that the active principle of soursop contains substances that promote healing. It is a source of vitamin A, C and B complex, which are important for the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
In herbal medicine, the soursop has been used, including the leaves, as a diuretic and anti-inflammatory.
An ongoing research indicates that the fruit would also have anticancer properties.
